Tony Wessling
Tony Wessling is Co-founder and Managing Partner of Chromium, a brand+culture consultancy based in San Francisco. Tony works with an organization’s leadership to craft strategic initiatives to develop vivid shining brands and vibrant corporate cultures. In addition to his creative and strategic expertise, he is the Chief Architect of CulturePulse, a mobile app that fosters employee engagement while providing real-time insight into the health of an organization’s culture.
He has been the driver behind successful strategic and creative programs for national and international entities such as APL Ltd., AXA Investment Managers, American AgCredit, Arrowhead Insurance, Aster Data, BeyondCore, CAMICO, Capital One, Derive Systems, Fannie Mae, Global Environment Fund, Guckenheimer, Juniper Networks, Littler, Mortgage Bankers Association, Novasentis, Nuherbs, Polycom, RoliRoti, The City and County of San Francisco, The Port of San Francisco, Suntech, Unidine and Willis Lease, among others. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Prior to founding Chromium, Tony spent 17 years as the President and Creative Director of The Wessling Group, a boutique creative agency based in San Francisco. An avid writer and speaker on branding and corporate culture, Tony has presented to numerous business groups in the U.S. and Europe including the Financial Communications Society in New York and San Francisco, the Insurance Marketing Communications Association, LocWorld in Seattle and Berlin, the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, and the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce in Zurich and San Francisco. He has also been a guest speaker at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco State University School of Business, and UC Berkeley Center for Entrepreneurship.

Peter van Aartrijk
Peter van Aartrijk is Co-founder and Partner of Chromium. Peter works with client leadership to define messaging strategies that translate into highly effective marketing-communications programs.
As Principal of Chromium’s DC Metro office and Insurance Practice Leader, Peter brings 30 years of branding and communications experience to help meet the complex challenges our clients face in a constantly shifting business landscape.
Peter’s leadership has benefited numerous national and international brands, including Assurex Global, Clements Worldwide, Starr Companies, InsurBanc, Selective Insurance, Trusted Choice, and others. He is the founder of Aartrijk, an insurance-specialist branding firm, and prior to that held senior marketing communications positions at the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America and the Insurance Information Institute.
Peter holds BA degrees in English and Journalism from Rutgers University.
Peter has appeared on CNN, CNBC, Fox News and other networks, and he has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, USA Today, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine and other national media. He is a frequent speaker on issues of branding and marketing and is co-author of Zoom: Focusing on Brand Dominance, a guidebook for independent insurance agents.
